Slow Cooked Cabbage Rolls

  • 1 large head cabbage (washed)
  •  1/2 lb. ground turkey breast (skinless) 
  • 1/2 lb. ground lean sirloin 
  • 1  egg, beaten 
  • 1/2 cup onion - chopped finely 1 tsp. salt 
  • 1 cup cooked brown rice 
Mix all ingredients together, except for cabbage. Boil or microwave cabbage approx. 10 minutes or until you can easily remove a leaf. Then remove core, to make it easier to remove leaves. Make cabbage rolls by forming a small handful of mixture and putting it in a cabbage leaf and rolling it up. Place cabbage rolls in a slow cooker. Add sauce (below) on top and cook on low for 7-9 hours. SAUCE: 1 - 16 oz tomato sauce 2 T fructose 2 T lemon juice 2 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce Mix together all ingredients.
